Rainforest Scorpion- Hormurus waigiensis - Medium

The Rainforest Scorpion, scientifically known as Hormurus waigiensis, is a native Australian scorpion species that thrives in the rainforests of Northern and Eastern Australia, particularly Queensland and New South Wales. This scorpion is easily recognised by its flattened body and large, square pincers, which are well-suited for squeezing into crevices and ambushing prey. Its venom is mild and considered harmless to humans.
